Romello Blade is a writer, director, editor, and producer, born in New York City. With a richly multicultural heritage that spans African, Indigenous American, and European ancestry, Romello channels a diverse cultural lens into his storytelling. He began studying writing at a young age and later graduated from Seminole State College, where he focused on Film and Television Production.

 

He is best known for the award-winning feature film Gray People (2022), a gripping exploration of social identity and unseen forces, and the live concert production Because of You (2017). His work is marked by a fusion of personal experience, cultural nuance, and genre innovation.

 

Romello is the founder of United Blade Entertainment, a production company committed to bold, original storytelling across film, television, and live performance. His upcoming projects include Gray People II: Rise of the Denzi and Gray People: Zeka—continuing the evolution of the Gray People universe.
